Insurance Information

We are preferred providers for most insurance companies. We make every effort to provide the finest quality care and convenient financial options. To accomplish this we work hand in hand with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures.

Please bring your insurance information to your first office visit so that we can expedite reimbursement.

Our office is well-versed in medical and dental billing. Your eligibility and benefits will be researched before your procedure and we will do our best to get your surgical procedure covered by your medical or dental insurance.

Please call if you have any questions or concerns regarding your initial visit.

How Dental Insurance Works

Dental insurance is an agreement between the policyholder and the insurance provider, intended to help offset the costs associated with dental care. It differs from medical insurance in both coverage scope and benefit structure, particularly with regard to oral surgery services.

What Our Office Does

Verification of Benefits: Prior to your appointment, we will research your insurance benefits so we can give you an estimate of your out-of-pocket costs at the end of your consultation.

Pre-Determinations and Estimates: Some insurance companies require a pre-determination in order to allow benefits once services are rendered. This is just like sending a claim to insurance but without a date of service, in order to get an estimate back from them in writing. Even if not required, we can submit a pre-determination to your plan. We do proactively send these for most treatment plans, but let our team know if you would like one sent.

Filing Claims: After treatment, our office files insurance claims on your behalf. Insurance claims can take anywhere from 1 to 6+ weeks to process, depending on the company. If you have multiple insurances, it can take much longer in some cases.

Your Role

Keep Up to Date: Knowing the details of your insurance plan is important. This helps you understand your out-of-pocket costs better. You are always welcome to call your insurance company to inquire about your benefits. Please let us know if you need the dental codes for your treatment plan.
